Psytech, the ballsy company that decides to challenge Apple’s EULA by selling computer’s that are Leopard-compatible has released a new machine: the OpenPro Computer.

While the Open Computer was comparable to a Mac Mini, the OpenPro Computer is comparable to, well, the Mac Pro.

At the base price of $999.99 you can get the base configuration which contains:

  • 2.6GHz Core 2 Duo
  • 2GB DDR2 RAM
  • 150GB 10,000RPM SATA HD
  • GeForce 8600GT 512MB
  • Firewire, USB, and all that good stuff.

Upgradeable to:

  • 2.6GHz Core 2 Quad
  • 8GB DDR2 RAM
  • 1TB 7,000RPM SATA HD
  • GeForce 8800GT 512MB
  • and so on.
Great job Psytech, now don’t get sued in the next couple of months so I can snag one…after I see some proof that it’ll work with ‘vanilla’ kernels!
